One booklet per thing you keep track of.

A booklet is just a name and the entries under it. Make as many as you want. Each one gets its own feed, its own search and its own export file, and the list of booklets shows how each one begins its latest entry, when that was, and how many entries it holds.

Widgets and controls

Your booklets, before you open the app.

Put the booklets you use most on your iPhone or iPad Home Screen. Choose compact Lock Screen widgets for a single booklet, or use the extra space on iPad for an overview.

Start where you left off

Quick Entry opens a chosen booklet's composer and continues its draft. Booklet Summary shows the latest entry, its age, and the entry count where space permits. Tap to open the booklet.

A button for a familiar entry

Choose a booklet, then pin global snippets or that booklet's own snippets. Log Snippet saves their current text with a tap, after device unlock, without opening the app's screen. Larger Home Screen widgets hold up to six buttons. Your draft stays intact.

Keep a few booklets in view

Booklets shows up to six selected booklets in their app order. Recent Entries combines the latest entries from your selected booklets. Tap a booklet to open its feed, or an entry to edit it.

Give Control Center a destination

Add New Entry, Open Booklet, or Log Snippet and choose the booklet it uses. Controls also work in supported Lock Screen positions and on iPhone Action buttons. They require device unlock before running.

Widget text follows system privacy settings. Background snippet logging saves without coordinates unless the app has a location fix from the past minute. It never starts background location tracking.

Apple Watch

A line from your wrist.

LogBooklet for Apple Watch keeps the things you need in the moment. Create a booklet, write an entry, tap a snippet, or read back what you wrote. Open an entry to see its full text, date, time, and booklet, how long ago it was written, and a map of its recorded location. It runs independently of the iPhone app and saves offline.

Say it, check it, send it

Use the watch's dictation, Scribble, or available keyboard. Review your words before sending. Your unfinished entry is the same draft on watch, iPhone, and iPad after iCloud sync.

A place on your watch face

Choose Quick Entry, Booklet Summary, or Log Snippet for your watch face or Smart Stack. Open the composer or a booklet with a tap, or log a chosen snippet directly from the Smart Stack. Choose a booklet first, then one of its snippets or a global snippet. Larger widgets show your latest entry preview or the snippet's wording.

Your own way to log

Use Siri and Shortcuts, or add controls to write an entry, open a booklet, or log a snippet in Control Center, Smart Stack, or the Ultra's Action button. Double Tap sends from the composer on supported watches. Handoff continues a booklet, draft, or entry on iPhone or iPad.

Your booklets come with you

The watch syncs directly with your private iCloud database. A saved entry stays on the watch while offline and reaches your other devices when sync runs. Editing screens, search, and export remain on iPhone and iPad, with the full action catalogue available through Shortcuts on watch.

Requires iOS or iPadOS 27 for the phone and tablet app, and watchOS 27 for Apple Watch. Location is optional. The watch saves without coordinates when a recent fix is unavailable.

There is no LogBooklet server and no login. The app works the moment you open it.

Your iCloud, not mine

Sync runs through your own private iCloud database. Each device saves locally first. Share-sheet entries sync through the phone app; the watch app syncs directly with iCloud. Widget extensions read the same local database, and direct snippet buttons save through the app. No developer-run server is involved.

Choose what your widgets show

Apple stores your selected booklets, snippets, and display options. Widgets can show journal previews and snippet wording, with standard system privacy redaction.
